Living in London with his wife of 25 years and 17-year-old daughter,

I'm not embarrassed to admit that even though I changed

My career 15 years ago,

Swapping the glitter of being a West End leading performer

for the sawdust of the power tools on TV makeover shows,

I have never looked back.
